Share color schemes for use in Web sites
Kuler is a free tool from Adobe Labs that lets users design and share color schemes for use in Web sites or other projects. If you’ve ever designed a Web site or PowerPoint presentation before, you know that choosing a color scheme is often trial and error.
Now you can develop an application/website colored by kuler, using the kuler APIs. Also try the cross-platform kuler desktop. You must first install Adobe AIR, then install the kuler desktop.
kuler features include RSS feeds of the most popular, highest rated and newest color themes, an Apple Dashboard widget to subscribe to these feeds, UI enhancements requested by the kuler community, and new desktop patterns based on our highest rated themes.
kuler now provides a direct link to Adobe Creative Suite 3 family of software. A panel in Adobe Illustrator CS3, built entirely in Adobe Flash, provides direct access to the kuler online community from the desktop and from the desktop to the kuler online community. For more information, please see the kuler FAQ. To try the kuler panel, download the free trial version of Illustrator CS3.
kuler is being released free of charge as a technology preview to give you the chance to try it out.
